Resetting the waste ink pad counter is a software operation — so it can be done entirely remotely over the internet. You just need a computer connected to the printer and an internet connection. VNIT uses its own reset tool, so most models are handled directly with no WIC key to buy; the whole process takes 15–30 minutes with a clear quote up front.
How the remote reset works
You download UltraViewer or TeamViewer (free) and send the connection code via WhatsApp. A VNIT technician connects to your computer, identifies the exact model, uses VNIT's own reset tool to take the waste ink pad counter to 0%, then runs a test print. You watch the whole process live on your screen.
Why can VNIT reset without you buying a WIC key?
For many newer Epson models, doing it yourself forces you to buy a paid WIC key each time, and a faulty key can cost you again. VNIT has invested in its own reset tool, so it takes the waste ink pad counter to 0% directly, independent of WIC keys — including screen models like L3210, L1210, L3250, L3260. Which models are supported?
Most Epson inkjets that hit the waste ink pad error: L3110, L3150, L3210, L3250, L3260, L1110, L1210, L120, L360, L805, L1300, L1800, L4150, L5290, T50/T60 and many more. Some very new or unusual WorkForce models need checking first — just send the model on WhatsApp and VNIT will confirm.

Our honest commitment about the pad
Unlike shops that just reset and stop, VNIT always checks for signs the pad is truly full and advises clearly when a reset alone is enough versus when you should clean the pad / fit an external tank to prevent ink overflowing onto the board later. A reset gets the printer working now; pad work is the long-term fix.
A reset does not change print quality
A reset only sets the waste ink pad counter back to 0% so the printer unlocks and prints again — it does not improve print quality. However the printer printed before the reset, it will print exactly the same afterwards, because print quality depends on the print head (nozzles), not on the counter.
⚠️ If a test print shows missing lines, white streaks or wrong colours, that is a print-head problem, not a counter problem — it needs head cleaning/unclogging, which a counter reset cannot fix.
